It has been a trademark of Nordian to offer training using modern technology.

Computer Based Training (CBT) has been in use since 1993 and our experience is in the provider-role, in the developer-role as well as in the user-role. The Ab Initio CBT up to and including ATPL level is delivered as part of the Distance - and Blended Learning from Nordian. It is sent as a separate DVD disk, to be used on a Windows based computer.

It contains a total of approximately 170 hours of courseware, equivalent to approximately 230 hours (45 min) of classroom training. The Nordian CBT includes the following 8 subjects:

    • Aircraft Systems & Airframes
    • Meteorology
    • General Navigation
    • Radio Navigation
    • Aircraft Performance
    • Principles of Flight
    • Engines (Turbine)
